Hip Hop OG, Jay-Z and Roc Nation have partnered with the NFL as their new "live music entertainment strategist."
Jay-Z role with the NFL will be Super Bowl halftime show and Roc Nation will also be part of the NFL's social justice campaign.
Jay-Z commented on the new role, telling the Times, "The NFL has a great big platform, and it has to be all-inclusive. They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good."
"NFL commissioner Roger Goodell also addressed Jay-Z's past criticism of the NFL, including their treatment of Colin Kaepernick." Goodell told the times, "We don’t want people to come in and necessarily agree with us; we want people to come in and tell us what we can do better. I think that’s a core element of our relationship between the two organizations, and with Jay and I personally."
